Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at PROGRESSIVE INDUSTRIAL FLUIDS LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. This is a permanent position requiring a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and safe handling of cargo.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and make any necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Logistics: Coordinate with dispatch and other teams to ensure efficient transportation of goods, including obtaining special permits and documents as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transportation, including cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: AZ class license and experience in the transportation industry an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a high level of attention to detail.
