Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team at KEEDWELL ASSISTED LIVING CENTER INC. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will provide personalized support and care to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in activities that promote mental and physical well-being
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks
  • Administer medications and provide wound care as needed
  • Document resident care and progress
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
