Job Title: Domestic Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Davinderjit Singh Nijjar. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the home, including floors, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Perform laundry and ironing duties, including washing, drying, and folding clothing and linens.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages as needed.
  • Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the household staff or management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.

Work Term and Language:
  • Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
Hours and Benefits:
