Job Summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler II to join our team in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. As a Material Handler II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of outbound shipments, coordinating deliveries from outside warehouses, and maintaining LEAN and 5S initiatives within the distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure daily outbound shipments are completed in a timely manner and all documentation is filled out accurately and completely.
- Support the daily processing of outbound shipments, coordinating deliveries from outside warehouses and ensuring all shipments are made on time to their respective destinations.
- Maintain LEAN and 5S initiatives and procedures within the distribution environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse, or supply chain or a related field.
- Preferred experience with powered industrial trucks.
