Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Childcare. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare center and ensuring the well-being and development of our young students.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, including cleaning and organizing the play area, preparing snacks, and ensuring proper hygiene practices.
  • Support the lead educator in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development in children.
  • Engage with children in various activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts, to foster a love for learning and creativity.
  • Assist with supervising children during outdoor activities, such as field trips and park visits, to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes social skills.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification or equivalent experience.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Working Conditions:
  • 35-40 hours per week, with occasional flexibility to accommodate the needs of the childcare center.
  • English language proficiency.
