Culinary Operations Manager

About the Role:
At Chacha’s Tandoor & Grill Catering, we are seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Organize buffets and banquets to ensure timely and efficient service
- Manage kitchen operations to maintain high food quality and presentation
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a culinary role
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- East Indian cuisine specialization
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
- Reliable and organized with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
