About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic External Relations Director to drive our strategy in shaping international education policies and regulatory frameworks.

As a key member of our team, you will leverage our data to engage with government bodies, influence legislation, and build key partnerships.

You will play a crucial role in aligning policies with our goals and advancing our mission within the Canadian higher education ecosystem.

Reporting to the SVP Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement, North America, you will work closely with our team to develop and lead comprehensive external relations and government affairs strategies.

  • Develop and lead strategies to build and nurture relationships with government bodies, policymakers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory trends in education, technology, immigration, and skills development.
  • Engage with government officials to advocate for policies that advance international education.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including government agencies and industry associations.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver our strategic objectives.
What You Will Bring

You have:

  • An extensive background in Canadian government affairs, relations, or public policy advising.
  • Experience advising senior leaders and spearheading external relations and government communications strategies.

You are ideally located in Ottawa/Toronto.
