Embedded Hardware Designer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Hardware Designer to join our team at Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new embedded hardware at the forefront of technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop new embedded hardware systems, including circuit boards, microcontrollers, and other electronic components.
- Support and enhance existing embedded hardware systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and performance standards.
- Apply established development processes and assist in process improvement initiatives to ensure efficient and effective design and development.
- Analyze requirements, research, and identify solutions to design and develop embedded hardware systems.
- Generate complete and accurate user and design documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and design notes.
- Provide input to architecture and design reviews, ensuring that designs meet the required specifications and performance standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in embedded hardware design, sharing knowledge and expertise with the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in board-level development and hands-on lab experience, with a strong understanding of electronics and engineering principles.
- Experience working with a multi-disciplined team, with a strong sense of responsibility, commitment to quality, and achieving deadlines.
- Strong debug and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-oriented team player who leads by example, holds themselves accountable for performance, takes ownership of responsibilities, and champions process improvement initiatives.
