Nuclear Equipment Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-destructive examinations (NDE) based on certifications in all areas of the shop.
  • Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
  • Create inspection reports, maintain, and file documentation.
  • Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and customer representatives.
  • Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines/regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must possess one of the following certifications: CEDO, UT CGSB-1, RT CGSB-1, or 2 years of experience as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWXT Canada Ltd.
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in the nuclear power-related industry.
  • Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member.
  • Proficient with computer software.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including days and nights.
