Job Title: Housekeeping Aide

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our client's home. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas, following established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, as well as dusting and emptying wastebaskets.
  • Collect and sort laundry, following specific instructions for treatment of soiled linens.
  • Wash and dry laundry, folding and delivering it to appropriate units.
  • Assist in maintaining laundry facilities, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure privacy of residents during performance of duties.
  • Adhere to established company policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, and safety.
Requirements
  • Considerable lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, moving equipment, and climbing ladders.
  • Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to read and write English and follow simple written and verbal instructions in English.
