About the Role

We are seeking an Equipment Installation Supervisor to join our Field Service team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning activities related to the repair, maintenance, and installation of mining process equipment.

In this role, you will report to the Field Service Manager and work closely with Metso's technical support staff to leverage their expertise. You will also provide advisory services during installation, checkout, start-up, and commissioning phases, as well as coordinate activities with customers and their contractors to ensure smooth field operations.

Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed scope of work and drawings for field assignments
- Collaborate with Metso's technical support staff to address customer queries and issues
- Provide expert guidance on installation, maintenance, and repair procedures
- Coordinate activities with customers and their contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Assist customers in maintaining the field schedule and ensuring safe working practices

Requirements

- 5 years' experience in field service or a related field
- Millwright certification or equivalent experience
- Valid Canadian passport and driver's license
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings in both English and Metric systems
- Familiarity with Metso's equipment and processes
