About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Lead Mould Technician Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for completing preventative maintenance of our moulds and assisting with mould changes/set-ups as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily preventative mould maintenance for moulds running in machines, keeping accurate records in Hippo.
  • Maintain complete mould change, mould set-up, and prevention maintenance records through our mould PM program, keeping accurate records in Hippo.
  • Conduct full part to full part mould changes with a focus on improving mould change processes.
  • Provide accurate information to the Mold Manager on mould operations and set-ups, and contribute problem-solving ideas for any issues that may arise.
  • Perform mould pre-inspections, preventative maintenance, shimming, and shipments to corporate standards.
  • Knowledgeable in the working and installation of auxiliary equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and minimum three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of mould operations and injection machines.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools (micrometer, vernier).
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals written in English.
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure.
  • Able to perform physical duties requiring average strength, including manual lifting and working in tight quarters.
