At Shoppers Drug Mart, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care and making a positive impact in our communities. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in our team, working closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to provide personalized medication management and health advice.



**Key Responsibilities:**



* Conduct patient assessments to prescribe new medications or extend existing ones



* Provide travel health consultations and chronic disease management via medication reviews



* Administer medications by injection and perform point-of-care screening/swabs



* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to establish circles of care for patients



* Counsel patients on prescription medication use and provide dispensary and pharmacy workflow support



**Requirements:**



* Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy



* Alberta Pharmacist License



* Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) certification or currently pursuing certification



* Injection Certification required



* A minimum level C First Aid certification



* Additional accreditations are an asset (e.g., CDE, CRE, CTH, etc.)



* Knowledge of HealthWATCH pharmacy software an asset



* Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism



* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills



* Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
