Job Title: Program Coordinator I

Job Summary:

The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Coordinator I to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing programs and services to promote public health and prevent disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement programs and services to promote public health and prevent disease
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Provide technical assistance and support to community organizations and agencies
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop program plans to address community health needs
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public health or a related field
  • Proven track record of program planning and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication, but proficiency in French is an asset.
