We are seeking a qualified Welder Specialist to join our team at Témisko (1983) inc. in a full-time permanent position. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting welding blueprints, ensuring high-quality welds, and operating various equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products


Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience an asset
  • Manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
