Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Rexall Pharmacy Group ULC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellence in patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate process flow related to patient records retention
  • Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
  • Evaluate legality, interpret, and input all prescriptions, labels, and consent forms to ensure patient information is up-to-date and in the pharmacy's computer system
  • Complete documentation including third-party management and reconciliation, patient files, prescriptions, printing reports, invoices, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and dispensary
  • Support the pharmacy team with inventory management
Requirements:
  • Completed a Pharmacy Technician Diploma or Bridging program from an accredited College (Required)
  • Successful completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam (Required)
  • Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists (e.g., O.C.P.) (Required)
  • 1 year continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills; Windows proficiency required
