As a champion for inclusive Canadian prosperity, we promote entrepreneurship among Canadian youth as a critical pillar for diversifying the economy, generating employment opportunities, and fostering a sustainable future.

We are the Canadian member of Youth Business International and the Canadian host of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). Our purpose is to drive inclusive Canadian prosperity by fostering the success of young entrepreneurs.

We are a founding member of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance and have helped more than 18,700 young entrepreneurs since our founding in 1996.

Futurpreneur is a business partner to the Indigenous Entrepreneur Startup Program (IESP) team, and we are seeking a Marketing Specialist to support our strategic goals and priorities related to increased brand awareness, pipeline building, and program delivery.

This role will support the development and implementation of marketing and communications plans to recruit and engage entrepreneurs, mentors, and partners for the IESP and our core offerings.

The Marketing Specialist will meet regularly with the IESP team to ensure campaigns align on a regional and national level, develop tailored communication plans, and identify new market segments and opportunities for the IESP.

The incumbent will work closely with the Marketing Manager to lead and support marketing campaigns tailored for Indigenous entrepreneurs and develop tailored national and regional integrated marketing campaigns/plans to engage mentors, entrepreneurs, and partners.

The Marketing Specialist will coordinate proper ROI tracking for each initiative, strive to support continuous improvement in the assessment of investments against pipeline growth and stakeholder retention, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners as needed to ensure budget and timelines are met.

**Marketing Initiatives for Futurpreneur and Partners

The Marketing Specialist will champion IESP marketing initiatives, support Futurpreneur Canada partner-funded projects and strategic partnerships, and develop tailored communication plans and identify new market segments and opportunities for the IESP.

The incumbent will work with multiple stakeholders with varying perspectives while balancing multiple stakeholder priorities, and demonstrate a detail-oriented, organized, and data-driven mindset.

The Marketing Specialist will create, organize, and manage all marketing assets, including newsletters, videos, and design materials for IESP campaigns in efficient and creative ways.

The role will also support general marketing activations to increase brand awareness and lead generation at both national and regional levels as required and attend local entrepreneur and mentor engagement events as needed.

**Programs and Event Management Support

The Marketing Specialist will champion IESP events management, support partnerships and sponsorship opportunities, and schedule and conduct regular marketing meetings with IESP team members.

The incumbent will work with the Marketing team to establish tailored lead generation campaigns across social media platforms and track and analyze lead generation, ROI, and KPIs.

The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to improve impact through Search and Display Ads and Social Ads, review post-event key results, and identify opportunities to implement feedback for future events.

**Marketing Budget and Expense Reporting

The Marketing Specialist will monitor and track marketing expenses for IESP campaigns across Canada, support the national marketing budget by conducting marketing budget analysis and allocating campaign spend, and accurately document marketing expenses across national, regional, and program initiatives.

The incumbent will work with the Marketing team to process monthly invoices with the Finance department and monitor overall program spend on a monthly basis.

Futurpreneur offers a competitive salary of $63,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Business, or equivalent hands-on career experience, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or communication.

The incumbent will have demonstrated experience and knowledge of digital marketing, social media, digital advertising, and traditional advertising, as well as experience working with internal resources and third-party agencies to continually optimize.

The Marketing Specialist will have a strong network and sense of purpose, entrepreneurial mentality, and lived experience working with Indigenous entrepreneurs and community organizations, and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the challenges faced by young Indigenous entrepreneurs and Indigenous-led and Indigenous-focused community organizations.
