About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Relations Officer to join our team at Scorpius Immigration Services Inc. As a key member of our advertising and promotion team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our online presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Requirements: Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance.
  • Documentation: Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
  • Web Development: Write, modify, and test website-related code.
  • Information Systems Strategy: Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  • Content Creation: Source, select, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website.
  • Security: Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware.
  • Content Optimization: Create and optimize content for the website using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software.
  • Policy Development: Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Software Evaluation: Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
  • Usability Testing: Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality.
