Everguard Fire Safety is seeking a skilled Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician to join their team in Sudbury, ON.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician to deliver in-field fire services, including installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire protection equipment and fire suppression systems at commercial, industrial, and institutional sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and operational/product manuals
  • Determine specific solutions and recommendations for customers
  • Prepare materials for daily execution of assigned work orders
  • Complete daily reports of completed work orders and activities
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed and that safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job
  • Mentor other team members, including trainees, as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of field experience installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire suppression systems
  • Manufacturer training in vehicle suppression systems
  • Valid driver's license
