LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at Floral Long Term Care. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
  • Document resident care services in medical records and department records.
  • Educate residents and their families on treatment plans and care.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Consult with physicians on resident care plans and notify them of changes.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
  • Ensure quality care by adhering to DOH standards and facility policies.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to resolve resident issues.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN program.
  • Experience in long-term care is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and teamwork are essential.

Must be a Canadian citizen.

Salary: $30 per hour
