Nail Care Technician Job Description

Luscious Nail Lounge is seeking a skilled Nail Care Technician to join our team. As a Nail Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nail care services to our clients, including applying and removing artificial nails and nail art, cleaning, trimming, and polishing nails, and providing gel and acrylic nail extensions.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply or remove artificial nails and nail art
  • Clean, trim, and polish nails
  • Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions
  • Manicures and pedicures
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Judgement and client focus
Work Environment:
  • Noisy work site environment
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities and organizations
  • Provides cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees
Support for Visible Minorities:
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities
