Cella is seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer to join our team. This is a 1 year remote contract, and the ideal candidate must be based in Canada with Canadian work authorization.

About the Role

As an Instructional Designer at Cella, you will play a key role in consulting, scoping, recommending, designing, and delivering high-quality, accessible, and blended learning and performance solutions. You will support complex, high-visibility learning projects in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will lead and support advanced learning projects to deliver timely, impactful solutions that drive our client's business metrics. They will distill and communicate complex concepts clearly, applying plain language principles.

You will collaborate with Course Owners and subject matter experts to gather content knowledge, identify performance gaps, and develop solutions within deadlines. As a trusted advisor and collaborative partner, you will build and maintain relationships to gather relevant data, analyze it, and present findings to support project goals.

We are looking for someone who can design and develop engaging, interactive blended learning solutions to achieve learning objectives, aligning with client brand, accessibility standards, and diversity and inclusion principles. The ideal candidate will utilize best practices in design, development, and training evaluation to enhance learning outcomes and manage scope, risks, and problem-solving.

A strong ability to provide expertise in learning and performance consulting, keeping up-to-date with best practices and trends in instructional design, development, and evaluation is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability, organization, and prioritization skills to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

In addition, they will protect organizational interests by identifying and managing risks, escalating concerns when necessary. A commitment to building credibility and trust with business line clients is also required.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer/Developer
  • Education in Instructional Design or Adult Learning
  • 2+ years of experience in evaluation, measurement, or business analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Instructional Design within the financial sector
  • Certification in Training/Performance Evaluation from organizations like Kirkpatrick Partners, ATD, or Training Industry

Estimated salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
