Job Description:

The Software Test and Validation Specialist will participate in developing, extending, and automating software and system tests used to validate the functionalities of our embedded software and PC applications.

This role requires strong collaboration with software developers and system specialists to define test and validation scopes, scenarios, and automation frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have experience with C/C++ development skills, Python, Matlab, and XML protocols. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail are also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop unit and integration tests for embedded software and PC applications
  • Develop and maintain programs that validate system performances of target detection, tracking, and classification algorithms
  • Develop automated test tools and sequences for embedded software, PC applications, and system validation
  • Organize and generate automatic test and validation reports
  • Participate in software quality assurance activities such as configuration management, release, and testing

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience, particularly in automated test strategy and writing functional tests, system tests, validation tests, and integration tests
  • Strong C/C++ development skills
  • Experience with Python and/or Matlab
  • Bilingual ability to work in a French-speaking environment and working knowledge of English (verbal and written)
