As a Trade Finance Expert with Strong Credit Control, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations, overseeing customer deductions, AP claims processing, and pricing discrepancies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring trade spend balance sheet accounts are up-to-date and accurate
  • Managing customer deductions and payables to ensure accuracy and timeliness of claim processing
  • Investigating and resolving pricing discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Preparing monthly customer balance sheets and analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with Sales and GBS teams to ensure healthy customer accounts
  • Providing support and assistance with audits to ensure on-time completion

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree qualified in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (preferably CPA/CA)
  • Experience in financial accounting, planning, and analysis, preferably in FMCG or Retail sales channel
  • Understanding of transactional processes and core systems, including BPCS, SAP, or Demantra
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate thinking into measurable actions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
