**Job Summary**

Integrated Sustainability is seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping/Facilities Designer to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Apply design principles to create 3D models and 2D mechanical equipment, piping layout, or general arrangement drawings of industrial buildings and processes.
  • Coordinate with field and office teams, as well as other engineering/design departments, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist in the development of P&ID documents, including drafting and correlating documents.
  • Have a working knowledge of stress analysis, design, and drafting standards, as well as piping specifications.
  • Report progress of assignments to the Piping Lead or Technical Manager.
  • Maintain a high level of multi-disciplinary experience, specifically in structural and electrical design.
  • May be required to participate in field trips.

**Requirements**

  • 10+ years of experience in a design role.
  • Diploma in process piping drafting and design or equivalent.
  • Legally able to work in Canada.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of CAD 2D & 3D CAD drafting/modeling programs, including AutoCAD, CadWorx, Navisworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is an asset.
  • Experience collaborating in RevIT and BIM 360 is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of industry or regulatory standards and codes as required for piping design.
  • Knowledgeable in ISOGEN.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
