Hatch is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Co-op Student to join our Shared Services group. As a key member of our team, you will support various HR generalist activities, including new hire file creation, new hire onboarding, HR reporting and analytics, and HR program and process review.
Key Responsibilities:- Support with various HR generalist activities, including new hire file creation, new hire onboarding, HR reporting and analytics, and HR program and process review.
- Participate in the creation of reports and maintain databases.
- Assist with day-to-day employee requests.
- Maintain data in HR Information System.
- Support payroll administration duties on an as needed basis.
- 2nd year or higher of a business/commerce diploma in Human Resources, or similar relevant program.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills an asset.
- Strong MS Office skills with advanced skill in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors and/or SAP an asset.
- Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges.
- Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and an ability to understand innovation.
- Adapts and embraces change.
