About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Goldstone Childcare Centres Inc. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Implementation: Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Activity Leadership: Lead activities that foster children's learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and exploring local points of interest.
  • Record Keeping: Assist educators in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Child Engagement: Engage children in activities that promote their learning and development, such as preparing crafts and snacks.
  • Observation and Reporting: Submit written observations on children's progress to educators and supervisors.
  • Staff Meetings: Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
