Job Title: Machinists Foreman/Woman

Chohan Machine Tools Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machinists Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to oversee the daily operations of our machining department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality parts, managing a team of machinists, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials for production projects
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to design and optimize production processes
  • Prepare bids and proposals for new business opportunities
  • Prepare production and quality control reports
  • Recruit, hire, and train new employees
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet production deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage and maintain company equipment and tools
  • Supervise and mentor a team of machinists and inspectors
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of CADD software and computer numerical control (CNC) machines
  • First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety Certificates
