Personal Support Worker for Elderly and Physically Disabled Clients

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Salvatrice Tina Janeczek. As a live-in caregiver, you will provide essential support and companionship to elderly and physically disabled clients in a safe and comfortable environment.
Job Responsibilities- Administer medications as prescribed by medical professionals.
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized living space.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Cook meals for clients, promoting independence and healthy eating habits.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities with clients, such as reading, watching movies, or going for walks. Your goal is to create a sense of community and connection, enhancing their overall quality of life.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1-6 months of experience in a related field.
- Punctuality, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organizational skills, reliability, patience, and honesty are essential qualities for this position.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, patient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. You must be willing to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize the needs of clients.
Work EnvironmentYou will be working in the employer's home, which offers optional accommodation on a live-in basis at no charge. This arrangement is not a condition of employment but rather a convenient option for those who wish to live on-site.
Benefits- A competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
