Job Title: Registered Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist to join our team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health - CAMH. As a key member of our Clinical Laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, maintain, and improve quality processes in alignment with our quality management system.
  • Perform routine testing in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Coagulation, as well as specialized Biochemistry testing.
  • Apply CAMH values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and service.
  • Support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Laboratory Technologists.
  • 1 year of experience in a Core Laboratory environment.
  • Registered member in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).
  • BSc degree in Biochemistry or Chemistry preferred.
  • Experience with laboratory AC Diagnostics (formerly IQMH) accreditation requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory information system.
  • Independent judgment and deductive reasoning with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language.
