About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team at KSG PAINTING LTD as a Cranes Operator Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced operators in the safe and efficient operation of cranes and other heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accurate execution
  • Clean and lubricate cranes and other equipment to maintain optimal performance
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, as we provide on-the-job training
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • English language proficiency
