Job Title: Control Systems Technician

CDN Controls ULC is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Technician to join our Automation team. As a Control Systems Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, upgrading, and installing SCADA, PLC, and HMI hardware for projects related to general maintenance or new construction facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex control systems and instrumentation
  • Upgrade and install new control systems and instrumentation
  • Configure and test control systems and instrumentation
  • Provide ongoing maintenance support for clients and hands-on development for construction-based projects
Requirements:
  • Journeyman Instrument Mechanic/Electrician with extensive automation experience
  • 5-10 years of experience with Delta V and/or Allen Bradley control systems
  • Post-secondary diploma in Instrument Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Automated System Engineering Technology, or a degree in Electrical Engineering (EIT or P.Eng)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with staff and clients
