Quality Assurance Technician

Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the Trans-United Consultants Ltd team, the successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving the workflow processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality parts on time. This will involve close collaboration with the Operations Teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize production efficiency.
Requirements
- Relevant diploma, degree, or technician qualification in a manufacturing-related field.
- At least five years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a CNC machine shop or assembly environment.
- Proven experience with ISO programs and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and BOM management.
- Knowledge of machine shop, fabrication, and assembly procedures and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to gather technical details for quote preparation and review ENG Masters and Part Masters to ensure accuracy.
- Contribute to document maintenance and create/update existing processes.
- Manage timelines of internal/external manufacturing processes and act as liaison between Scheduling & Planning.
