Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for our clients in various industries, including transportation, electrification, recreational vehicles, heavy machinery, consumer goods, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop 2D and 3D models using various CAD software for clients in diverse sectors;
- Conceive and design all types of mechanical parts and systems;
- Supervise project progress and inform project managers and team leaders of any potential delays or issues;
- Validate the quality of work delivered by the team;
- Work with clients to develop their products and provide technical expertise;
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts.
Requirements
- DEC in Mechanical Engineering;
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design;
- Passion for design, mechanics, and technical challenges;
- Proficiency in CAD software (Catia V5, Solidworks, Solidedge, Inventor Creo/Pro E);
- Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and functional dimensioning (GD&T, ASME Y14.5 2009);
- Ability to work in product development;
- Willingness to travel for short, medium, or long periods.
