Job Title: Quality Assurance Coordinator

At Cementation Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our construction projects and maintaining our QA/QC program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement ITP plans for contractor work
  • Work with discipline superintendents to ensure QC is being performed and plan inspections
  • Coordinate TSSA piping inspections with TSSA inspectors
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements
  • Read, understand, and implement drawing checking processes
  • Conduct constructability reviews and check design drawings and specifications
  • Troubleshoot site concerns and make recommendations
  • Review QA-QC/NDE/Material test reports and generate reports for all QA related activities
Requirements:
  • Experience with TSSA piping is an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to effectively prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
  • Fall Arrest certification
Education and Experience:
  • Pass pre-employment drug, alcohol, and medical testing
  • Criminal Record Check (if applicable)
  • Full Basic Underground Common Core
  • Secondary School Diploma
  • Applicable Post-Secondary Technician or Technology Diploma
  • Engineering Degree considered an asset
  • Minimum combined 5 years in Fabrication, Mining, Heavy Construction, Quality Assurance & Quality Control
