Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company and take on a leadership role in our window treatment sales team. You will be working closely with the Shop at Home Manager and store operations to maximize synergies between retail locations and the sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales coaching and mentoring, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations. They will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze and execute business plans.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop core talent for the window design consultants in your sales area.
- Coach and develop technical, tactical, and sales skills to maximize conversion, sales, and other KPIs.
- Maintain tracking systems for sales results and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Communicate sales targets and track performance measures by developing tactics and strategies to maximize results in your assigned market.
- Ensure the execution of corporate strategies related to the product category within budget and company orientation.
- Support the Shop at Home Manager in analyzing progress, business results, and customer needs, and make recommendations for growth and market penetration.
- Available for travel within the area market.
- Ability to analyze, execute, and follow up on a territory business plan.
- Knowledge of window treatments and blinds is an asset, particularly Hunter Douglas products.
- Proven ability to quickly build business relationships based on trust and outstanding customer service.
- Experience in leading a sales team.
- Strong personal negotiation skills and ability to counter objections.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- A competitive salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
