Job Title: Gas Bar Attendant

About the Role:
At Federated Co-operatives Limited, we're currently seeking a skilled Gas Bar Attendant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment, and upholding our brand values of Integrity, Responsibility, and Community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outstanding customer service at the pump, ensuring a positive experience for every customer.
• Dispense fuel and propane with precision, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels, providing an added value service to our customers.
• Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently, maintaining a high level of accuracy and integrity.
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care, ensuring a visually appealing and well-stocked store environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.
• Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed, at applicable locations.
• Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience, promoting our brand and values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements:
• Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane).
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
• Team player with the ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with some heavy lifting required.
• Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset, with training available for the right candidate.
