Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP SCM Solution Architect to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for delivering working solutions to enable best-in-class business and systems capabilities, guided by customers' needs and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of system outcomes, with a good understanding of SAP Architecture principles, business processes in Supply chain, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay areas, and leading practices in SAP System architecture.
  • Be an embedded member of a DevOps team, driving architecture quality through requirements, design, implementation, and operation, improving the flow of work, and enforcing traceability from strategy into the design and implementation of enterprise applications.
  • Make technology decisions that support better systems architecture, remove technology-related obstacles at the system level, and grow, develop, and nurture team members.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other stakeholders, including business and technology stakeholders and architects.

Qualifications:

  • Subject Matter Expertise: hands-on architecture skills, SAP Architecture principles, Architecture modeling language (ArchiMate), Architecture patterns, Domain-driven architecture, Event-driven architecture, REST/GraphQL API design, Microservices, Cloud-native architecture (preferable GCP).
  • Hands-on technical Skills: Functional Configuration in SAP Modules - EAM, PM, SD, MM, PP, PS, and EWM, and/or ABAP Development in SAP Supply Chain Management modules listed above, HANA, Oracle/Postgres DB, SQL, Git (preferably GitHub), Terraform, NodeJS, Java, Web development, HTML/CSS, Kafka, Google, PubSub.
