Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Handyman Professional to join our team of professionals. As a Handyman Professional, you will be responsible for completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, making recommendations and managing expectations with customers, and delivering a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers.
Key Responsibilities- Completing Maintenance & Repairs: You will be responsible for completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, with project lengths ranging from two hours to two days.
- Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations: You will communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.
- Create Life-Long Customers: You will deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers by following the Mr. Handyman Way, a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time.
- Customer Satisfaction (NPS): You will encourage customers to complete a survey for them to rate their satisfaction with the service, with a high response rate and high satisfaction rate expected.
- Revenue Target: Our office will get you in the door, and it's your job to stay there and find additional ways to be of service to the customer.
- Effective Billing Rate: You will be responsible for invoicing appropriately, sourcing any needed materials, and collecting payment from the customer.
- Recall Percentage: We guarantee all our work for one year, and the work needs to be done correctly, the first time.
- Experience: You will need to have 8+ years' experience as a paid handyman.
- Tools: You will need to own your own tools and be able to use technology.
- Physical Demands: You will need to be able to lift 20 kilograms independently and safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time.
- Professional Appearance: You will need to maintain a professional appearance and properly maintain company-provided vehicle.
- Carpentry Work: You will have strong proficiency in at least three (3) of the following: carpentry work, bathroom improvements, kitchen improvements, painting, drywall work, general plumbing and electrical, floor installation and refurbishing, and familiarity with building codes.
The pay range for this position is $XX.XX to $XX.XX and is dependent on your experience as a professional handyman as well as your experience with other home repair and maintenance projects.
