Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Valve Field Service Specialist to join our team at Flowserve Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex flow control systems, providing technical support to customers, and collaborating with our engineering department to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair flow control systems, including Flowserve Control Valve products and competitor's valves.
  • Provide technical phone support to customers, answering their questions and resolving technical issues.
  • Assist our Quality and Reliability Center (QRC) teams with technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with our engineering department to resolve technical issues and improve product performance.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing on control valves and interpret the results using specialized software.
  • Configure, calibrate, and commission digital equipment manufactured by Flowserve, including HART, MODBUS, and Foundation Fieldbus protocols.
Requirements
  • College or technical school degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software applications.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or less, and perform physical tasks such as walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include clear vision to pass a motor vehicle driving test, as driving of rental or company vehicle is required with this job.
