Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at St.Amant. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals with complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Care Management: Provide individualized care and support to individuals in various settings, ensuring their goals for health, well-being, and independence are respected and pursued.
  • Human Resource Management & Safety: Work effectively as a care-team member, maintaining a high degree of professionalism and personal accountability, and supporting a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Financial Resource & Facility Management: Ensure resources are used efficiently and effectively, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Health Care Aide certificate from an approved educational institution required.
  • Experience: Previous experience supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities who present with complex health/physical care needs is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, independent worker able to maintain focus with minimal direct supervision, physically capable of performing all tasks required in the job, and able to be mindful and manage one's own emotions.
