Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and fiscal management of projects from inception to completion. This includes developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, managing project budgets, and ensuring compliance with contractual and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

1. Safety

Acting as an ambassador for Cherubini's Safety Program, advocating for the health and wellbeing of employees and stakeholders.

2. Finance

Preparing project budgets, monitoring and managing fiscal aspects of the project, and preparing financial reports as required.

3. Technical

Maintaining intimate familiarity with contractual and technical requirements, managing the preparation of shop drawings and erection plans, and reviewing design and shop drawings.

4. Leadership

Developing and maintaining customer relationships, mentoring project coordinators, and making regular visits to the shop and site to monitor and manage projects firsthand.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

1. Minimum five years experience as a project manager in a similar capacity

2. Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or the equivalent combination of technical training and related experience

3. PMP Certification and/or familiarity with the PMP Body of Knowledge

4. Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively amongst and between all levels of Cherubini, customers, and vendors

5. Familiarity with web-based project management software tools for managing and tracking projects and tasks

6. Ability to relocate to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia to work out of our main offices prior to beginning work with Cherubini
