Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team at Bunge.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain Departmental Safety Standards: Stay updated on all safety policies and procedures, promote a safe working environment, and ensure compliance with Bunge's PQSE policies.
  2. Operate Equipment Safely and Efficiently: Continuously monitor department processes, make adjustments as needed, and maintain accurate logs and notes.
  3. Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with shift crew members, maintenance personnel, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  4. Meet Quality and Production Targets: Make operational decisions to minimize downtime, reduce waste, and ensure target product quality goals are achieved.
  5. Support Plant Shutdowns and Startups: Participate in planned and unplanned shutdowns, ensure equipment is properly isolated and safe to work on, and minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Current and valid driver's license in Alberta (Class 5 or equivalent)
  • Grade 12 Education required
  • 4th Class Power Engineering Certification or higher
  • Ability to work days and nights, including frequent shift schedule changes
