Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our nursing team in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient health status and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between care settings.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
