We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at D&G General Labour Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
As a Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.
Requirements:- 2 years of experience in the trade.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour.
