Job Summary:The Building Maintenance Man/Woman will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience an asset.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Valid driver's license.
The Building Maintenance Man/Woman will work in a fast-paced hotel environment with minimal supervision. The role requires a high level of physical fitness, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
