Sellax Roofing is seeking a skilled Roofing Technician to join our team in handling various aspects of roofing projects. This role involves working on commercial and industrial roofs, ensuring high-quality installations and repairs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, with experience in installing and repairing metal roofs using hand and power tools. They should be comfortable working at heights and navigating potentially hazardous work sites.

A competitive salary of $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience, is offered for this position. In addition to a comprehensive salary, we provide excellent benefits, including dental and healthcare plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces
  • Work under pressure to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the roofing industry
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Physically demanding environment, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling
