Job Summary

Shabad's Attire Ltd. is seeking a skilled Custom Garment Craftsman to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and fit customers for garments, taking precise measurements to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create custom garments, using commercial patterns and modifying them as needed to fit customers' specifications.
  • Make, alter, or re-style fur garments and accessories, using your expertise to create unique and high-quality pieces.
  • Select and modify commercial patterns to customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit, ensuring that every garment meets our high standards.
  • Design patterns to fit measurements, using your knowledge of fashion and textiles to create custom designs.
  • Mark, cut, and sew fabric, using your skills to create precise and accurate cuts.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the fashion industry, preferably in tailoring or alterations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
