About the Role- This full-time position involves working on-site, utilizing computer-aided design (CADD) software and operating various machinery to create custom kitchen cabinets.
- You will be responsible for supervising other workers, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and adhering to quality control standards.
- Create detailed plans and specifications for kitchen cabinet production.
- Operate CADD software and other computer systems to design and optimize cabinet layouts.
- Assemble and trim joints, ensuring precise fits and reinforcing connections.
- Sand wooden surfaces, apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare laminated plastics.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, costs, and labor hours.
- Supervise and assist other workers as needed.
- Estimate material costs and lead times to ensure timely project completion.
- 1-2 years of experience in woodworking, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CADD software and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) techniques.
