About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Sales and Merchandising team as a Retail Sales and Merchandising Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, updating store managers on product launches and promotions, and negotiating secondary display space and additional product on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain client relationships by visiting with employees, department managers, and store managers.
  • Update store managers on our clients' latest product launches and upcoming promotions.
  • Negotiate secondary display space and additional product on behalf of our clients.
  • Build and maintain product displays.
  • Display, arrange, price, and rotate products at a store level.
  • Ensure adherence to shelving guidelines and plan-o-grams.
  • Manage in-store inventory, stock replenishment, and packing overstock/returns.
  • Visit multiple banners throughout the workday.
  • Conduct pricing audits.
  • Complete detailed reporting.

Qualifications

  • You are a great fit if you are looking to kick-start your career in retail sales and merchandising, have prior territory retail experience, and are available Monday – Friday day-time availability.
  • You are a strong communicator, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • You have a strong eye for detail, are physically able to lift up to 25lbs, and have access to a smartphone with data/Wi-Fi.
  • You are comfortable with technology and using handheld devices, have access to a vehicle, and a valid driver's license.
  • You can drive for extended periods of time.
